Neurorehabilitation - Recovery of Motor Function

The topic for this summer school follows the demands for improved rehabilitation and care of humans with special needs. The term neurorehabilitation is used in context of findings of researchers and clinicians that a training of the neural circuitry by means of various agents promotes long-term changes in the organization of the spinal and cortical structures in addition to strengthening of the peripheral structures and elimination of disuse effects.

The school is tailored for Ph.D. students, post doctoral fellows, clinicians with interest in neurorehabilitation methods and technology. Ph.D. students who pass the test will earn 2.0 ECTS.
